I am attending Moodle administrator training at the moment and I came across a useful plugin that many of you might find useful.
There is a plugin for Moodle that is an add in for Microsoft Office. This plug in will allows you to open and save Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents in a Moodle course. Once the plug in is installed it is very easy to manage.
Before you do this however I suggest you visit their forum and scan through the postings to see potential problems and solutions for your operating system and browser.
