Would you use an IPAD in the classroom?

I would like to collect your thoughts on using IPAD in the classroom and other learning environments. America seems to have adapted this technology easily and examples of its use can be found in schools and higher education settings http://www.examiner.com/presentation-skills-in-national/ipads-rolling-out-more-ways-than-one?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter.

App developers themselves see the use of this technology in educational settings and are hurrying to develop appropriate applications. Apple too have also jumped on this band wagon http://www.examiner.com/presentation-skills-in-national/apple-ipad-apps-add-learning-tools.

So here’s the challenge…. would you the ipad in your classroom? Why or why not?

Do you believe mobile technologies such as the iphone and ipadl improve learning opportunities for students or hinder student learning?

Do you have experience that you would like to share with others.

Post your responses to this post so that we can get this conversation going?
